After purchase, QuantVPS will give you simple instructions for connecting to your new server. It will be like using any other program on your computer, except this will be a whole computer inside a window. You interact with it just like using your own computer.

Side note: Some computers don't come with Remote Desktop Connection, so if you follow the instructions, and can't find that program in your start menu, then you can download it here.  After installing it, restart your computer.  Then you can find it as "Remote Desktop Connection" in your start menu search.

If you only need one screen, and don't plan to do heavy optimization, the Lite plan could be great for you. The big limitation is the amount of RAM, which means you can't run a lot of programs at the same time. For this reason, we recommend dedicating this machine to NinjaTrader only (don't do any web browsing, etc).

If you plan to utilize heavy indicators or data like orderflow, or tick replay, then the processor may not keep up.

For those who are new to SharkIndicators, the Lite plan includes access to BloodHound & BlackBird. The higher plans also include the BacktestRenko bars, BacktestLineBreak bars, and HeatMap Pro.

No. The VPS is a self contained service, giving you access to a computer and the SharkIndicators software running on that computer. This is a great way to use the software without needing to pay the full price up front.

If you need the software on your local computer also, we offer the bundle for a fair price (especially compared to other advanced trading software) and then you can get the Existing SharkIndicator User price on the VPS.

No.  NinjaTrader includes the end-of-day data feed for free.  They offer a brokerage and data feeds that you can choose according to your needs.  NinjaTrader also supports some third party brokers and feeds.

The service is offered according to QuantVPS's policies. They offer the option to cancel the service at any time. There's no refund policy for services rendered. Contact QuantVPS for more information.

If you already own BloodHound or BlackBird then you can choose Existing SharkIndicators User above to see the base VPS rate.  Your VPS will come preinstalled with SharkIndicators software and will not use up one of your license activations, which are for personal use.  Simply bring your existing license(s).

Existing BH & BB owners don't get upcharged for the VPS, so you are paying the same rate as if you went directly to QuantVPS.  NinjaTrader & SharkIndicators are preinstalled, ready to use whichever licenses you already own.

If your current license's updates period is expired then it will remain expired.  Your VPS will be on the latest version, but your original license will be unaffected for your personal computer.

If you only have one of the main products (BH or BB) and would like to use the other, then you could pay the new user rate for the VPS (starting at $99/mo) to gain access to both tools.  Or you could purchase a license of the missing one, and bring it to your new VPS at the lower monthly rate.  Please note: We offer a discount to purchase BH or BB if you own the other.  If you have questions about any of this, please contact us.

Absolutely. Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS are all supported. The server itself is running Windows Server edition.

Yes. NinjaTrader can be used for free for testing, and you can pay them for a brokerage account and data feed. Either way you will need to sign up for a login on their website.
